The New York Islanders beat the New York Rangers in front of 16,234 fans at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum yesterday afternoon by a score of 4-2. The Islanders got their second win of their season improving to 3-1-0 on the season with 6 points which is good for 6th place in the east in this very early 2011-2012 campaign the Rangers fall to 0-0-3 and still have 3 points after.
